Would you like to make a huge difference in the life of a child in need? This Spring, Idlewild is hosting foster care licensing classes led by A Door of Hope on campus. Learn what is involved, some of the difficulties and many of the blessings, through this 4-week set of classes.
Foster care provides a safe place for a child to sleep, eat and receive shelter. It affords for a time of care emotionally, physically, mentally and socially–so children coming from an abusive, neglectful or otherwise insecure homelife can begin to heal from trauma and have an opportunity to thrive.
Classes begin May 6 and continue May 13, May 20, and June 3. All classes must be completed to become a licensed foster family.
